Nurses and pharmacy professionals. The eMAR (electronic medication administration record) is where ward-administration orders are charted. Each scheduled dose is a record you complete at the bedside.

- Open the dose. Check the patient, product, route and scheduled time.
- Scan the patient's wristband and the medication barcode. If either does not match the order, nothing is given.
- Enter the Dose Given, and the Lot where required.
- For a controlled medication, add a Witness User who is a different person.
