Review an AI draft
Available to
Clinicians. An AI draft is a suggestion made from a voice note's transcript: a consultation summary, a SOAP note or patient instructions. It is not a diagnosis, and it is not part of the record until a clinician accepts it and signs the note.
Generate and review a draft
- Open the session and tick Patient Consented to AI Assistance. This is separate from the other consents.
- On the Voice & AI tab, open the voice note and select Generate AI draft. Choose Consultation summary, SOAP note or Patient instructions.
- Open the draft from Telemedicine → AI Drafts or from the session. Read it against the transcript.
- Edit the text if needed.
- Select Accept as Draft Note. An unsigned clinical note is created, with a footer that says where it came from.
- Open the note, submit it and sign it the usual way.
What the system does
- Only the transcript is sent, after the patient's name, email, phone numbers, long numbers and dates are redacted. Redaction is best effort, so always review the draft.
- The draft keeps the provider, the model, whether the transcript had been corrected, and who generated it and when.
- Discard keeps the record of the draft. A draft cannot be deleted.
- Every send to a provider and every accept is audited.
