Available to

Configuration managers.

Code systems hold the terminology used for diagnoses, allergies, observations and orders, such as ICD-10. Clinicians choose concepts only from an approved release.

Add and import a release

  1. Open HIS Administration → Code Systems. Each release shows its Uri, Version, Source and State.
  2. To add a release, select New. Enter the Name, Uri, Version, Source and the License Reference, and the Effective From date. It starts in Draft.
  3. Select Import Concepts, or open Import Terminology. Choose the Code System and Concept Type, upload a UTF-8 file, set the Delimiter, and map the Code Column and Display Column. Add Display Ar Column, Category Column and Parent Column if the file has them.
  4. Select Validate (Dry Run) first. It reports what would be created, updated or rejected, with row numbers.
  5. Select Import when the dry run is clean.
  6. Open the release and check Concept Count, then select Approve Release.
