Users whose role and local policy permit emergency access.Explain the patient sensitivity indicator, why some records have extra safeguards, and how to request urgent access only when immediate care makes it necessary. Tell users to select the appropriate purpose, enter a truthful reason, complete the task, and expect post-use review. Emergency access is time limited, requires a meaningful reason, and can be reviewed or revoked by the Privacy Officer.
