Track child growth

Available to

Paediatric nurses and clinicians.

Growth measurements are compared with WHO growth references. The result is shown as z-scores, percentiles and a class so that faltering growth is easy to see.

Record a measurement

  1. Open Paediatrics → Growth Measurements and select New.
  2. Choose the Patient and the Facility. Check Measured At; the age in months is calculated.
  3. Enter at least one measurement: Weight Kg, Length / Height (cm) and Head Circumference Cm.
  4. For length or height choose the Measurement Position: recumbent (length) for children under 24 months, standing (height) from 24 months.
  5. Save. The Weight-for-age z, Length/height-for-age z and BMI-for-age z appear with percentiles and a class.
