Register an integration endpoint

Available to

Configuration managers.

An endpoint describes one connection to another system: what standard it speaks, in which direction, and who owns it.

Add an endpoint

  1. Open HIS Administration → Integration Endpoints and select New.
  2. Enter the Name and choose the Endpoint Family: FHIR R4, HL7 v2, DICOM or DICOMweb, IHE or CDA, Payer, Health Information Exchange or Other.
  3. Choose the Direction (Inbound, Outbound or Bidirectional) and the Transport (HTTPS, MLLP, Message Queue, SFTP or Other).
  4. Enter the Specification Version and the Contract Uri that documents the interface.
  5. For HTTPS endpoints enter an HTTPS Base Url. Enter the Certificate Reference and Secret Reference: a pointer to where the secret is kept, never the secret itself.
