Issues medicine through the audited pharmacy transfer workflow and records the dispensing event after stock validation.
Steps
- Open a verified prescription and choose Dispense for the required medication line.
- Select whether the action is a dispense or a return, then enter the quantity, lot where applicable, witness if required, and relevant note.
- Select Create Stock Transfer.
- Complete the linked stock transfer through the approved stock process, including any local lot, expiry, or barcode steps.
- Return to the dispensing event and select Post Clinical Event once stock validation is complete.
What happens next
The event moves from Draft to Awaiting Stock Validation to Posted. The prescription becomes partially dispensed or fully dispensed as remaining quantity changes.
