Scan GS1 barcodes and identify stock safely

In the configured Odoo Barcode workflow, recognised application identifiers can populate or support the identification of GTIN, contained trade item, lot, serial number, expiry date, quantity, and location. The user must still verify the resulting item and movement before completion.
Steps
- Open the approved receiving, internal transfer, count, dispensing, or issue operation before scanning.
- Scan the product or package code with the approved device.
- Confirm the product, pack, unit, lot or serial, expiry, quantity, and destination shown on screen against the physical item.
- Correct a mismatch using the controlled exception route. Do not scan a substitute simply to complete a transaction.
- Complete the operation only after the correct item is in the correct approved location and its traceability data is complete.
