Reconcile an unmatched imaging study

Radiology User and authorised manager for final approval.

Ensures that a study which arrived without a safe automatic match is reviewed before it is linked to a patient and order.

Open Radiology and ECG > Study Reconciliation.
Review the study identity, accession number, modality, timing, and available matching information.
Select Propose Reconciliation only when the patient, facility, accession number, and available evidence support the proposed order.
A different authorised HIS Manager reviews the proposal and selects Approve Reconciliation or Reject Reconciliation. The user who proposed the reconciliation cannot approve it.
Follow local policy for studies that remain unmatched or rejected.
