Understand the healthcare workforce workflow

Explain the workforce record as the operational identity for a person who works for the provider. It supports employment, role, attendance, leave, approved skills, and payroll inputs; it must not be used as a clinical record.

Recruit and approve → Employee record and onboarding → Role, roster, attendance, leave, and skills follow-up →
Payroll inputs and review → Payslip and confidential payroll records → Transfer or offboarding

Emphasise that a person’s system role, facility assignment, professional credential, shift eligibility, and payroll entitlement are related but distinct controls. One record must not automatically grant all of them.
