Shows capacity by facility, building, ward, room, and bed so staff can locate an appropriate bed and see its current availability.
Explain the difference between a bed’s physical setup and its current availability. The working bed states are Available, Occupied, Cleaning, Blocked, and Maintenance. A bed can also appear unavailable because its room is closed, blocked, under maintenance, inactive, or not assigned to an active location. Direct users to the encounter workflow to assign, transfer, or release a patient bed.
