- Add the prescription-required product to the pharmacy POS order.
- Select the patient before linking the prescription.
- Select Link Rx and choose the verified prescription authorisation for that patient and exact product.
- Confirm the prescribed quantity remaining and complete the sale.
- The server confirms the patient, exact product variant, prescription status, expiry, role, witness rule, and remaining quantity before payment is completed.
What happens next
The authorised fulfilment is recorded against the prescription. A POS refund is also rechecked rather than being treated as an unrestricted reversal.
