Allows authorised administrators to manage controlled versions of clinical or operational configuration, including their effective dates and approval record.
Explain the lifecycle: Draft, Pending Approval, and Approved. A newly approved version supersedes the prior approved version; an authorised rollback restores an earlier approved version. Explain that configuration representing clinical policies, forms, reference information, workflow rules, integration settings, or retention policies should be approved before it becomes effective. Include an explicit rule that changing a configuration is not a replacement for the customer’s formal change-control process.
